# Glossary

> Every Performax term, defined once.

Use these terms consistently when reading the app and docs.

| Term             | Meaning                                                                                                                                                |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Account          | A Performax login account. It is separate from an exchange account.                                                                                    |
| Trading account  | A connected exchange account or wallet inside **Settings → API & Exchanges**.                                                                          |
| API key          | Credential created on an exchange so Performax can read trade, balance, and position data.                                                             |
| Read-only key    | API key with no trading and no withdrawal permissions. This is the only supported key posture.                                                         |
| Passphrase       | Extra secret required by OKX and WEEX API keys. It is not your exchange password.                                                                      |
| Wallet address   | Public wallet address used by wallet-based exchanges such as Lighter.                                                                                  |
| Binance products | The Binance product lines Performax can track per account: Spot, USD-M futures, and COIN-M futures. Chosen when you add the account; COIN-M is opt-in. |
| Dashboard        | App home view with configurable widgets and account overview.                                                                                          |
| Analytics        | Dedicated performance analysis page for metrics, charts, exports, and behavioral breakdowns.                                                           |
| Trading Journal  | Table of imported and reviewed trades.                                                                                                                 |
| Strategies       | App section for strategy definitions, checklists, and performance tracking. Older copy may call these playbooks.                                       |
| Playbook         | A strategy record inside the Strategies feature.                                                                                                       |
| Trade plan       | A pre-trade plan that can be compared with the executed trade later.                                                                                   |
| Calendar         | Day-by-day trading activity view.                                                                                                                      |
| Notebook         | Personal note system for trading notes, daily entries, and screenshots.                                                                                |
| Risk Management  | Calculators, rule settings, simulations, and exposure views used to monitor user-defined risk.                                                         |
| AI Assistant     | Analysis surface that describes patterns in your own historical data. It does not place trades or produce market signals.                              |
| Active Coach     | Deterministic rule engine that checks your own rules against your trades.                                                                              |
| Cashflow         | Deposit or withdrawal used to separate account balance from trading performance.                                                                       |
| Realized trade   | Closed trade. Date-based analytics should use the close date when available.                                                                           |
| Privacy mode     | Dashboard mode that hides sensitive monetary values on screen.                                                                                         |

## Canonical labels

* Use **Strategies** for the navigation label.
* Use **playbook** when describing one strategy object.
* Use **AI Assistant** for the feature name.
* Use **API & Exchanges** for the settings area that stores connected trading accounts.
* Use **read-only API key** for exchange credentials. Do not describe Performax keys as trading-enabled keys.
